Prancing Pony
Novitec take the excellent Ferrari Scuderia and make it completely different
The Ferrari F430 Scuderia is a fine balance – a subtle power increase, clever weight loss and some Schumacher know-how. And then Ferrari-tuners Novitec come along and crank the power up by another 200bhp, paint the alloys yellow and fit blacked-out rear lights. Hmmm.
Luckily for those who don’t trust Ferrari’s ability to create the perfect F430 the Novitec Rosso version has now arrived, complete with not one, but two superchargers. The car now has 717bhp ,will now top 215mph and will accelerate to 62mph in 3.5 seconds.
The heat insulated intake manifold have been redesigned to provide the engine with pre-compressed air and then it also gets two high performance air filters and eight larger injectors. The extra heat generated from the power hike is cooled with a higher capacity coolant system.
The car can also be fitted with a Novitec flat-bottomed steering wheel and carbon fibre shift paddles. Novitec sports springs lower the car although there is a hydraulic lift system to raise the nose 40mm in seconds.
So here you have it: a Scuderia Ferrari that is totally different from how the Prancing Horse intended it. Where do I sign?
LEAVE IT ALONE PEOPLE!!!!!
with those wheels on must handle like crap. Would need the extra horsepower to gain back all the lost performance on handling finesse.
LEAVE IT ALONE PEOPLE!!!!!
im supriesed companies haven't used forced induction on these engines before. clearly they are VERY strong engines.
i personally like the car and hope you can get the same engine mods on the standard car.
Cheers
Chris.
LEAVE IT ALONE PEOPLE!!!!!
Where do I step up
I might not like certain parts of the styling but can you imagine what it goes like and the noise it makes with the twin superchargers whining!!
I think there is almost a sense of jealousy when these sort of cars come up since only the very few people will be able to afford them and therefore they must go to footballers and the like and as we know they are all w
rs with no sense of taste or class
!! tbh if I could afford one I wouldn't give a toss what people thought of me, I'd just enjoy driving the thing!LEAVE IT ALONE PEOPLE!!!!!
PH has already reviewed the ordinary F430 Novitec Rosso with twin superchargers a couple of years back, there was no suggestion that the car was compromised in anyway.
