I do not understand what "0-60 with 1-ft Rollout" is.
it yields a better time than the standard 0-60 .
however, C&D "Street start, 5–60 mph" gets a worse time. ??

I wouldnt worry about - they are all US mags, and its highly likely that any 0-60 test you read is unachieveable by a mere mortal like ourselves.
The best way to test 0-60, is to go on an airfield, get a Pbox or suchlike, and have a go yourself, take an avg of 5 runs will give you your answer

I don't worry! and am not interested in destroying my own clutch and paying with my wallet (sorry...)!!The best way to test 0-60, is to go on an airfield, get a Pbox or suchlike, and have a go yourself, take an avg of 5 runs will give you your answer

however if these '1 ft rollout/ or 5-60 are more clutch compassionate figures I hope to have an idea of what is practically achievable.!
I does considerably depend on the age of the engine. Do not underestimate how much the car loosens up after 6k miles.
I do not do the 0-60 bit because of clutch and general abuse but I was surprised to see on my last ECU read out a 0-60 time of 5.1 seconds. A 4.7 shouldnt be hard if you are trying.

Not sure what 1ft roll-out means?
also, 5-60 is very dependant on 1st gear ratio, in just the opposite way a 0-60 time is - if you think about it, most cars with good 0-60 times have tall 1st gears, which will be s
te on a 5-60test..
Out of interest, Dave&Tim Mackie's car in a race start last weekend did 0-60 in 3.1 and 0-100 in 7.48sec's (from dataloggs - he would have done 60 in ~2.8 if he had held on to 2nd till 60)
