How would one go about valuing a .com business, whose revenue was largely retained year on year without substantial effort, in relation to perhaps the turnover or profit of the business itself?

Depending on the nature of the business usually I have found it is multiples of profits which increases the more solid the biz plan / assets / history / quality domain name and the like.
