Wooooo Hooooo

It's been a couple of months since I passed my test and I've been trying to decide which bike to get. After reading a lot of helpful threads on here it came dome to either a CBR600 or a Thundercat. The choice was made for me when I saw a Thundercat at Wigan Yamaha when I was buying a helmet just in my budget.

I'll be honest though, I'm nervous about picking it up. It's a couple of months since I've ridden a bike and that was a ER5 during my DAS.

Is there a massive difference between the ER5s and 600cc bikes? The reason I chose the Thundercat is that it is supposed to be a little more forgiving for the newbie than some other 600s.

Cheers all

the t/cat will be very easy to ride mate, loads of midrange (for a 600) and very smooth at all revs

enjoy

post us a report once you've ridden it...show some pics too

Yeah, you'll be fine.

I had a thundercat for a short while shortly after passing my test.

Very capable bike. Be smooth with all your inputs and you'll have no problems.

It was my first bike after riding the Er5 on the test.
Just be careful when you first pick it up, as the power difference is stupid!
It also to me anyway felt a lot lighter and cornering was an odd feeling.
I've had mine for 3 months now and i'm just getting used to it!
