Hi Lorraine,
I'm pretty sure I have it on video somewhere and can put it onto a dvd for you. Remind me please - what was the Lambo bit again?
You may have to give me a little while to dig it out tho.
It'll cost you a ride in the Urraco though
(You are in Colchester aren't you? I can drop it in as my girlfriend lives there too)
Cheers

Hi
Is there anyone who could help me I am looking for the Car Years Episode that Jeremy Clarkson done with the Lamborghini in it as I stupidly wiped my sons one out by mistake!
Thanks
Lorraine
I think i remember that one. It was the "Italians" episode in the car years series wasn't it? The one were they even interviewed Mr pininfarina. And the Diablo was compared to the F355 and the Bugatti. Was that the episode you want? If so then it regularly does its rounds on Sky channels like "Dave" ect.Is there anyone who could help me I am looking for the Car Years Episode that Jeremy Clarkson done with the Lamborghini in it as I stupidly wiped my sons one out by mistake!
Thanks
Lorraine

Hi,
Can I just confirm which episode you mean Lorraine. The first episode of Clarkson's Car Years is called 'The Supercars' and the lambo bits are Clarkson driving a dark purple Diablo SV in London
Orange SV in a supermarket car park getting people's opinions
Driving a red anniversary Countach in London again doing the whole 'can't see behind you and can't park them' routine.
This episode finishes with Clarkson and the F40 - saying it as the best Supercar (quite rightly!). The Car Years series is the series that had 'The Family Car' and 'What happened to the British car Industry' etc
The one that 'here' is talking aboout above is from Clarkson's earlier Motorworld series where as mentioned he interviews the great VB, the Bugatti test driver and drives a viola purple SE30.
I may have that too on video but not sure. Let me know which one and I'll see what I can do.
Just to say too that these series are available on dvd from HMV, play.com etc.
Cheers

The other programs in the series included, "What happened to the British car industry", Supercars (with the Italians/Lamborghini), followed by " the japanese".
Sorry I don't get what you are on about?
You were confusing things describing a competely different programme called 'The Italians' which was from Clarkson's Motorworld, not Car Years. Lorraine then agreed off the back of what you said that the programme she was after was called The Italians when the programme she actually wanted was called Supercars and features a number of non italian supercars so never referred to as such.
I just wanted to make sure before I helped her out.

Well let me explain, my response was because Freaky lady agreed that it was the episode called "The Italians" first before she also said you were right in your description. So i naturally concluded that both programs are the same. You were confusing things describing a competely different programme called 'The Italians' which was from Clarkson's Motorworld, not Car Years. But yes you are quite right there was two TV series that he made. One called Car years and one called Motorworld. There was an Italian episode in both i believe. Hope that helps you understand what i was on about.
But it sounds as though you are on top of this.
Yep the cars years is the one that starts with the "what killed the British car industry" talking allot about BL ect, then the "New Romantics" then "Supercar/Italian one with the Purple Diablo ect. Then the next in the seres is the "Japanese". They do the rounds on Sky very often.
This is the series you are talking about http://uk.youtube.com/results?search_query=the+car...
