if a company goes into administration
Discussion
a bit of a funny one ...
we own a trademark and the corresponding domain (.com) but the company, known as the same name but no trademark, who owns the .co.uk domain has gone into administration with £750K of debt.
We want the .co.uk domain, should we make an approach to the administrators with a small offer (I was thinking £500) for the domain.
Do we have grounds to actually request it to be transfered as we own the trademark?
We ownt the trademark both singular and plural of the company name, so, by the same virtue, could you insist the other holders do the same? I know that it is a bit of bully boy tactics but having the full selection would be quite nice and save the problem of people emailing the wrong domains as often happens.
