I realise nearly everyone is more mechanically minded than me, but I thought I'd post in case in helps anyone.

After a long run, the doors and boot didn't open. Central kindly PM'd me the secret way in and after a bit of fiddling I did it. I emptied the car of everything in it, private and works phones, credit cards, jacket, camping stuff, work stuff, all that I couldn't get at. I closed the doors leaving the boot open 'just in case'. The doors worked perfectly, no idea why, but they did. Closed the boot and.... of course I couldn't open it. Some solenoid noise but not much.

Tried the secret way and nothing, I must have moved things a little. Anyhow, after much fiddling today, a good friend (thanks Tony Tiger) sorted it. Removed the solenoid which was working fine, but the connecting rod wasn't quite connecting. You can adjust them, so we did and hey presto, it works fine.

So, if you don't know how to do it, it may be worth finding out so you can see what you're doing (when you need to do it, you can't see anything).

Just a thought smile

Take a sledge hammer to the rear screen.

Or, call a dealer or someone on here that knows you're a bona fide owner!
