Caliper help please
Discussion
Hi. I have a kit car that looks like it has mini disks and calipers. One of the bleed nipples has snapped flush
so I may need to get a refurbished caliper.
I've matched the pads up in a brake pad book and have the reference MLB37 and says it's off a mini.
The caliper is a Lockheed and has these numbers (as best I can read them) on the casing B243 341D and DA2893
From this, can anyone tell me what the calipers are and what model mini they would be off (assuming I'm right and they are mini). Also where's good and cheap to get a refurbished caliper from if I can't shift the remnants of the bleed nipple........any tips on getting it out
Thanks

Looks like that's a caliper for the later 8.4" disc setup used with 12" wheels on a Mini, from ~'84.
Minispares do them, this is the l'hand side - L & R are different http://www.minispares.com/Product.aspx?pid=33880
They're not worth much s/h and there are usually some around if you don't want to pay that much and don't mind rebuilding one.
