My Exige S started making a "different" noise from the exhaust last week. After a call to Lipscomb, they made an urgent appointment for the same day. After an inspection, a blown exhaust was identified. Not only did they book it back in for 3 days later but they offered to replace the exhaust under warranty. Then, to my amazement they offered a stage 2 exhaust as an option.

The sound is now incredible and it's released that extra power.

I can't remember having such a great service. Partly because it was free, but also the speed they turned it around and the professionalism. A joy to deal with.

What sort of noise did it start making? I have the Lotus Motorsport exhaust on mine and the sound is awesome but I was out driving yesterday and it started making a different noise. Sounded somewhere between a mis-fire and a blowing exhaust. No symptoms leading upto it, pulled a way from a junction went to change gear and the noise was there.

Just got my car back after a couple of small problems, all sorted out and they even cleaned my car (very good job).

Lipscomb's are excellent - I would own a Lotus just on the basis of the customer service I have recieved from Lipscomb's.

Paul on sales is great and i think it is Mark in service. I had the floors done under warranty about 6 weeks ago as my S1 is not 8 years old until September. Top service all round.

I have to agree, while my car has now gone, Lipscomb were a briliant dealer and I will be back. They were so good I considered a Volvo as the family car for a split second!!!
