Decided to remove my Le Mans stickers this weekend and give the car a well deserved clean:
1. Noticed that the glass on both my driving lights is broken !
2. As had been mentioned on piston heads previousley, I had decided a mark of respect for Trevor Wilkinson, to put a piece of black tape round my ring mirror for the Le Mans trip. Removed this and it brought half the paint away !!
3. Had taken a jerry can to Le Mans as an emergency supply, whilst carefully ( or not as the case obviously was)pouring into the tank, most seemed to end up on the boot of my just cleaned car !!!
So went for a drive to cheer myself up.
With regard to the driving lights, they are the original (i think) Cibie ones (94 Griffith 500), is the light a sealed unit or are the lenses available seperatley.
If yes, anyone know where from ? If not how much would new lights be, I have found the whole unit for about £70 each.
