Has anyone had experience of uprating the tyres on a MG BGT for motorsport ?

I am doing more Autosolos with the Farnborough District Motor club and an considering improving my grip ove the "ditchfinders" i use currently.

Any Advice ??

No shortage of good tyres in 185/70 14 out there for not a lot of money.
