Decent Yorkshire tyre fitters/suppliers

Just been on the hunt for a new pair of fronts for the Saab 95 Aero and, as always, this chap has come in the cheapest and is going to source/fit them within an hour of ringing up. Also, always rings back promptly and can get pretty much any tyre you want.

The same tyres (toyo proxes t1-r) or the conti sport contact 3 equivalents from the the surrounding garages - (one being a Saab MD) are all at least 60 quid more expensive. He seems to do them at internet prices, which is very rare today.

Just setting off for em fitting now - 94 quid each inclusive.

Local toyo specialist just a mile down the road wanted 130 quid each!!

Anyone else care to list there favourite tyre place.

Generally use Bush tyres in Beverley. Had two sets of toyo T1r's off them and a couple of sets of budget jobbies allways seem to do a good deal and come within a few quid of the internet companies.

I use Alba Tyres on Gelderd Road in Leeds. They look after all the Astons for JCT600 round the corner so they know how to be careful with the wheels. Good prices and cheerful service from Anthony.

I've just bought 2 Toyo's from Black Circles for £80 (for 2) and got them fitted at Just Tyres (Burley road) for free with tracking.
Defaintly better then the original tyres.

How the feck did you manage that? Does it have something to do with you NOT being a bloke.

Hopefully not..
I was polite and gave him the details of who I got the tyres from (As they where cheaper then he gets from the suppliers), I went to him to get a temp fix on the punctured tyre until the tyres where delivered, and actually solved a problem with his car which had a weird ticking over so he got help which meant I got help! Think he was a little shocked it was from a girl like. Unforunately he left Just Tyres on Friday but I have the address of his new garage
