Hi all,

Just put a deposit down on a Mk4 GTI Anniversary. It has a full and very comprehensive main dealer service history. I would like to continue this trend and have it serviced by a main dealership. In the past we took out old Mk4 Golf 1.6 to the local dealership (Arnold Clark - Crow Road) and we far from impressed with the service (or lack of) which we recieved. I am looking for a dealership either in Glasgow or in the Central belt to take care of the car and i would welcome anyones suggestions and own experiences.

Thankyou,

Agar

I've also had the displeasure of using Arnold Clark - Crow Road. One of the worst dealerships I have ever came across.

I now use Ingram in Ayr whom to date have been excellent.

My friend swears by Verve in Rutherglen, they service his Passat and his partners Golf GTI Anniversary.

No probs so far, and they usually give him a decent courtsey car for warranty work, managed to blag a Pheaton "once"!

I would never EVER have any of my cars serviced at AC BTW

Thanks - Verve does seem to have quite a following. Not heard a bad report about them yet.

It was only serviced at AC as the car was bought from there and we wanted to keep the main dealer service up to date (we promptly changed to a local independant).

Only have positive things to say about Advantage in Stirling so far - the salesman there (Graham) was excellent, and on the one occassion I've had to pop back since I had no complaints at all.
