Anyone know if its worth while installing turbo timer on Subaru WRX.
will this actually benefit my car, or waste of time?

Waste of time mate!
Got one, never use it. Just take it easy for the last 1-2 mins drive before you park the car!

It's a bit like an insurance policy. Most of the time you don't need it - as per second post.
Just occasionally you'll have rushed somewhere and need to leave the car quickly. That one time you use it could save wear & tear on the turbo(s) which cost a lot more than a timer.

A genuine waste of money unless you do trackdays a lot and don't want to sit in your car for a minute or if your driveway is at the very end of the A1 where you do an emergency stop from high speed up to your garage door.

That's exactaly why i got mine, i'm not a morning person so have to put my foot down a bit sometimes to get to work on time.

I got mine as a option when i bought my new cat 1 alarm system (Viper VX 480), was only £ 25, extra to have in build into the alarm and it works fine. Can lock/arm the car and the engine stays on for about 4 minutes and then shuts down.

If your car is loud and you want to annoy the neighbours then go for it! otherwise don't as has been said before.

it is realy not worth it "waste of time" unless u absolutely thrash the nuts of your car every where you go. if considering or have already got serious engine modifications i would opt for a turbo timer just for piece of mind.
