June Photoshop Competition II - Results

Since there were only 4 entries in this competition it wasn't too hard to place them.

No point in beating around the bush...


In 4th place, i decided to place richo_i with this entry.



While I admire him for being different, its the roughness of the gravel and flowers that lets it down.
Good idea though.




In 3rd place: Jonty355 with his Dr Who style amimated gif.

In 2nd place: Mindgardens with his fantasy/gothic entry.



I almost placed this 3rd or 4th simply because i didn't like the style, but then i looked closer and i thought the cobb webs had been done really well, and i also likes the gothic style arches about the door. So well done for attention to detail.




In 1st place: ol, with this particularly gruesome take on the original.



To be honest I think the dog and the mans head lets it down a bit. I'd have liked it even more if it was just the doors, torso and the skull spray painted on the wall.
I really do like the realism of the doors though.

I agree with what you said, and meant to remove the guy and the dog but been so busy with work last week i totally forgot.

Anyway, i'll dig out a new photo tonight and get the new competition up tomorrow.

Just seen this, Chuffed (no pun intended) to bits to get a mention, will try harder next time but I struggle to find the pictures to put my ideas into practise the poor quality gravel and flowers is due to the picture being too small to start with but it is all I could find.
