youd have to have it done aftermarket, and a proper job, with paints that wont affect the shell etc is usually more than what you have spent on your helmet
there are a few places that do it, if you search around - about £250-500 depending on complexity of finish I think

Used to have my motorbike helmet´s done but I thought they might have moved on since then, I´ll just buy two that we like then

You can get Bike Helmets in Generic designs, but racing helmets tend to only come in solid colours. I think Arai offer a choice of White Black and Red, but shops like GPR only usually stock the white
I don´t really mind as long as it´s a good lid as I want to use it for racing trackdays etc, but it´s Mrs Boggy she want´s a Pink one (I know before anyone says anything). SAD!Boggy
Predictable item of 'get as good as you can afford' applies! I use an Arai GP5 for Caterham racing, but the GP5k is much much cheaper and pretty much as good.
I had a 120mph crash at blanchimont a couple of years ago where my head hit the cage wearing a GP5. I didn't get knocked out or have a concussion of any magnitude (the driver who caused it was out cold for several hours)! When I went in to GPR, I slapped the battered one on the counter and said 'I'll have another one of those please'. The bloke said 'That's funny, yesterday an F3 racer came in and did exactly the same thing with a GP5. He said ran along an armco upside down, and that the barrier had stripes of paint where his head had been bouncing along it! He jumped straight out after the marshalls tipped him back over!'
I'm having my helmet painted at JLF Design near Ipswich at the mo, who quoted me 200 for a straightforward pattern and 300 for an airbrush design. I'd imagine a solid colour would be cheaper than that though!
I'd probably steer clear of using a bike helmet in a car as each is designed for a purpose!
EDIT: Although bike helmets come in lots of different colours/styles as they sell far more of them!
