Part qns - Cooling and clutch

For an S3C can anyone advise where I can source new or re-con parts below;

- Radiator (else I will have to re-core)
- Steel pipes in the cooling system (Mine are wearing thin!)

- Clutch slave cylinder

TVRcarparts.com can supply alloy rad (at a price) and i guess stainless waterpipes. But your best bet for the rad is a re-core if needed about £120 ish conpared to £350 for alloy. I got a silicone hose set and s/s water pipes from ACT (via Adrian venn - Exactly TVR Coventry) very pleased with the pipes and the hoses look pretty (you will have to change your otter switch for the s/s water pipes - cerbera I think)

Hi Andy,

I've changed my two steel water pipes for stainless, along with silicon hoses. The old steel pipes look in reasonable nick - they're yours if you can be bothered to come and pick them up from me.

I fitted one of these clutch slave cylinders last Christmas:

Cheap, but the inlet pipe thread was coarser than the original, so I had to put a new union on the end of the pipe...

Andy,
I have a spare slave cylinder seal set in the shed should yours be sound enough to rebuild. Also I have a new Landrover slave cylinder should you want to go that route. I'd suggest replacing the copper pipe before it fractures while you are at it.

Ive been thinking what to do when the rad eventully goes and the following looks like a possibility its a pretty similar size and the price seems reasonable.I dont want to tell them what its for as the price seems to go up when people know stuff fits TVRs.

Good idea if it works. Do you know if that rad will fit then? - ie I don't weld.

I did enquire about the sizes and they were similar,(cant find the reply email from the ,they gave exact sizes. But im sure if it needed a few brackets welding on it would be nowhere near the £200 extra for a TVR one.
