AVO SHOCK ABSORBER ON A TAMORA

hi all , i want to replace the front shocks on my tamora for general road use not track days !
my local tvr dealer has suggested avo shocks as there not to expensive and are a good quality product
anyone know the best place to buy these and also the product code ?
any other suggestions welcome but im on a budget of no more than £130 each

I had the same requirement. Bilstein do a Tamora/T350 specific damper. Several of us have them and all are very happy, as far as I know. They retailed at just under £130 when I bought 12 months ago. You will also need springs, but these are not expensive. Try Eibach. They were OE and, again they do springs for specific cars.

going for gaz gold adjustable shocks to the front £430.00 fitted which comes with new springs
didnt want the nitrons at £1000 for 4 plus fitting i dont do track days and have to budget ?
the bilstein looked ok but arent adjustable or new springs at £320.00 plus fitting
ill let you know how they are when ive had them fitted in a couple of weeks time

I have GAZ gold all round, so far they have been a vast improvement on the STD ones, I got these so I had the ability to fully adjust them. At the moment the front has been raised for better clearance to enable me to use the garage and get over speed bumps. I have been tweeking the rebound for the past month and I think I have found my ideal setting, also something to note if you use GAZ is keep spraying WD40 on the rebound knobs, these get grit under them especially if you use a power washer and can sieze up, I make sure they are free by turning them every couple of weeks or so and plenty of the WD40. I have used AVO on other cars and I would say they are a better quality shock than GAZ but no real difference in the feel or handling, Bush types can play a big difference to the feel too so if you feel you are not getting the response you want try stiffer or softer bushes before condeming the shocks.
