Recent highs & lows of TVR ownership

The high: Had the Cerb on the rolling road and was pretty pleased with the results ( 380BHP & 302 lb.ft torque )the fine weather was with us this weekend and I had an early morning run planned on Sunday..... I was a happy owner

The low: Decided on a 'mini hoon' Saturday but ended up travelling home in the cab of a flatbed as the Cerb suffered loss of the clutch

After seeing the condition of the clutch (and it seems to be the original) it has been decided to replace it, although it was the seals in the master cylinder that gave up the ghost it makes sense to do the job once (so to speak) Sound advice from Paul & Bodders at Austec
Early indications are the new clutch is 10 days away, so..........
today I'm a p***ed off owner

380bhp is good news. What mods have you got?

I had exactly the same issue with my clutch last year. Sadly though for me I had slave done, only then to have clutch fingers go a month afterwards, which meant box out again! I wept.

Hi Peter your misfortune is exactly why I've decided to get the whole shooting match done now rather than chancing an alternative fix, although it would be cheaper.
As for the mods: Paul has re-mapped her, added an induction kit, sports exhaust which is also de-catted. I'm after that elusive extra 21 BHP or more and new injectors along with another re-map are apparently the next step??

Saw yours already for collection this afternoon what did it achieve on the RR in the end?

Dunno what mine made yet. I had mine inducted and mapped by Paul a while back, back had it back in for a topup map on the new RR.

I'll pick her up in the morning. Question is what next? more power (injectors, manifolds) or intrax?
