...Not catching.

It did this on Sunday, but eventually fired when I gave it loads of loud pedal.

Started OK this morning, but tonight it's having none of it.

Any ideas?

First step would be to check the state of the plugs.

Had this once, locked it up, armed it, opened it up, disarmed it and it fired up. Put it down to one of those things. Interested to see I could get it up to 60psi oil pressure on the starter only though hehe

This happened to me- turned out to be the fuel pump cut-out circuit on the immobiliser.

Easy/hard to fix?

Easy to fix in the immediate term by just bridging off that circuit on the immobiliser (its got 3 anyway, so no biggie), more expensive to put right properly, as you'll need a new immobiliser unit most probably.

To be certain that it is the fuel pump circuit, next time it happens, listen carefully after you've unimmobilised to hear if the fuel pump is on. It sits just inside the rear near side wheel arch- get in close and you should be able to hear a slight whirring noise.

Cleaned out loads of crap from a connection under the wheel arch. It now seems to be OK.
