Euro Tour starts saturday only im behind in planning - Help!
Discussion
Morning all,
So this saturday me and a mate are taking the 968 on a euro tour starting in boulogne and ending up on thursday at the Le Mans classic. This gives us 5.5/6 days of trying to find the best roads Europe has to offer and spanking it round them. So im a bit behind in plannign .. i was thinking route de napoleon but it might be too far to go in the time, also Milau bridge. Anybody got any suggestions of routes, roads i must seek out etc etc .. would be enormously grateful

hi phil,
there is nothing too exciting at all for 4 hours beyond boulogne or for four hours before le mans ... therefore sat & thurs would/should be simply spent slogging the motorways to get you where you want to be.
nothing at all will move before 10am in the morning, i'm sure ... coupled with 1.5 hours for lunch and a destination time of around 4pm, one is left with 4-5 hours driving, minus time for fuelling, argueing, swearing at the sat nav, photography & unfolding maps etc etc.
what about say hitting a part section of the route de napoleon then across to millau and then up to le mans ? ... hard going, but possible.

yer id agree im possibly being over ambitious on the amount of ground we can cover ... i thinkg a bit of a slog on the first day and as you say to lemans might be well worthwhile there is nothing too exciting at all for 4 hours beyond boulogne or for four hours before le mans ... therefore sat & thurs would/should be simply spent slogging the motorways to get you where you want to be.
