Wheel Cleaning
Discussion
Whats the best method of removing ground in Brake dust from wheels?
I've been a bit slack in cleaning the car in the past and now my wheels are covered in little black dots of ground in brake dust.
I generally use MC2 / Virosol for cleaning the wheels but I am not getting them completley clean.
Is it just a matter of scrubbing with a wheel brush for a few hours or is there an easier way to get them clean?
Any help much appreciated.

Clean them using your normal cleaning method then try claying the wheels.....IMHO much safer than using highly corrosive cleaners....should remove all the brake dust contaminants for you.

Thanks, I had been thinking claying may work and also my mate suggested it, I have a clay bar in the garage so will give it a go....Kev
