Well me being the cheapskate that I am was getting the WSV ready for the mot next weekend and noticed it needed wiper blades.

So popped to Halfrauds and picked some up, and thought oh they look like they would fit the Wedge smile and then put the wedge one on the passenger side of WSV smile

On trying to get Wedge one of noticed it was even more perished than the WSV's yikes and I always thought the wipers were cr*p.

So now changed all 3 for new ones and can actucally see in light rain again when driving the Wedge

Need to change a sidelight bulb and then the WSV is in the hands of the gods at the weekend frown

I got a wiper with the washers built on from a guy on e-bay. Through conversations with him it turns out he used to supply the factory with the wipers for the griffs and chims...

Best mod of last year for the money, and it really works!!!!

I though the crap Grief wiper system used a standard wiper with a Citroen(?) plastic water hoop siliconed on to it.

Maybe he was talking about the Tuscan / Tamora wipers?

I fitted a washer head to the wiper arm on the 400SE. It works a treat - now I can wash the screen at speeds over 45 mph.

Washer Head from Vehicle Wiring Components - look at their website under accessories/screenwash section.
Part 59355 Wiper arm washer jet.

It clamps to the arm. You need a longer water supply hose, cable tied to the wiper arm.

Looks much neater than the loop washer hose arrangement on my T350c.

Car will be at BBWF for those interested to see the result

Sounds like we need a new competition at BBWF, most imagnative wiper arm modification.

We will of course have to throw a bag of manure at the windscreen and see which wiper clears it in the fastest time yikes Hope you all up for that smile

so far in the running

Me on standard - new wiper blade

Matt on Griff adapation

Hamish on a car spares solution

Leo on a B&Q special

Any others ?
