Condition is everything. Clean it!

A HC with PAS is going to be worth about 2k more than a std 4.0 without PAS IMHO (& experience as a fairly recent buyer).

Take £12.5k is about right I'd say for a quick sale, but I'm sure you could get more on the right day.

Dont sell it. You will be reducing the precious few Shopshire owners down even further!!

Still, might push my residuals up a bit

Why the sale? Better TVR?

If it was mine - £16K - but as it's yours - £8K. Worth what someone's prepared to pay.

Agreed... spot on I'd say, although I'd probably take closer to £13,000 than £12,500 as its got the PAS.

Cheers
Matt.

Good: Nice spec, 2 owners
Bad: Its a 4.0HC (so what), its 94M & its done 51k miles:
To me that says advertise at £12750, take £12000

That's the killer!

As much hassle as they can be, when you get your £12.5k - what y' gonna get to replace it? A nice Primera or a Vectra?

Good man.

Why are the HC variants worth so much more?

I test drove standard 4's and HC's and couldnt notice any difference. Since having the chim i have been on runs with HC chims and when foot has been to the floor there has been no noticeable difference. In fact, last hants meet i was neck and neck with an HC along the A31 from 10 mph up to erm, lets say, high speed.

Plus I must say i didnt notice the HC cars going for any sort of premium over the standard cars when i bought. All much of a muchness

Now power steering, different matter.

Dan, mate

Sorry I did not reply sooner. Excellent choice!!

Even though the fans packed up tonight and I wanted to kick the little barsteward.....There is no way I could sell.

Besides - where I live it kinda creates a stir! Addictive.

Still - off to find a landy for those "slushy days"

Yeah, well, cheers then Shnozz

For those of us trying to sell that is ... the 35bhp was to go somewhere doesn't it?
