Speed reading on pod

Was wondering if anybody had come across a similar problem; as the ambient temp gets warmer the difference between the analogue and digital speed reading gets bigger, in other words the analogue reading becomes more and more inaccurate. Any ideas?

similar problem but not looked for a solution yet.
Analogue speedo packs up when car is warm and digital doesnt work properly above 85.

I think its a replace or cleaning problem.

Could it be anything to do with the sensor (or some part of the whole mechanism) expanding once it gets hot and either sticking or giving a spurious reading? Just a guess!

I always find that the LCD display goes strange when it's very cold out because LCDs don't work very well in cold temperatures. I still vote for trying to create a new hi-res colour pod display!
