So who's going to Silverstone this weekend?
Me, should have got myself a "Spank it like Max" or "WWDD" T-shirt.

Mercury Comet Cyclone (17) driven by Nick Whale and Ford Falcon Sprint (4) driven by Chris Clarkson. The Comet is a stunning looking car, only one in Europe racing, it was front row and podium last year at the Goodwood Revival with Nick and Andy Rouse at the wheel.

The race will be a cracker looking at the entry list, so do stay till the end and watch rather than try and fight your way home after the GP.

good stuff! i'll definitely be over on the sunday at least, hopefully fri or sat too - i can't do any work on sunday until the f1 cars come back from parc ferme anyway which is normally a good few hours after the race has finished, so for the last two years i've always gone down to that paddock to see the cars all lining up and setting off for their race

i'll be the one in the BMW Sauber kit

I will be there - Club probably

Edited to add, John, are you there Friday? I'm free to wander round then and will drop by - no chance to do this Saturday or Sunday though.

Can anyone come and see you in the paddock area, John? Or do you need some kinda pass? I'd be really interested in taking some photo's.

I do smile

Not sure who we will be seeing this year though ? Full Super Aguri tour and a quick peek at Renault last year.

Renault were rather funny and keeping an eye on us as if we were all F1 criminals and Super Aguri didn't seem to give a monkeys smile

For the last x number of years, the historic "paddock" has been on the straight running from Becketts to the Complex on the Club circuit. You only need a centre transfer to access that area. It's true that you cannot access the F1 (or GP2/Porsche) paddocks without specific passes though.

I will be there all 3 days. We have got club silverstone tickets and will be at Beckets outside.

Do you know if you can wonder around on the Friday? I would be interested in going for a walk and see the cars through Farm / Club et al.
