right due to me and the missus expecting our first child its time for the evo to go sadly frown

anyway i was wondering what to go for next. i want something japanese and sporty, but need something that does a fair few mpg and doesn't cost the earth to run. i was thinking of an accord type r. anyone got any other suggestions??? i want performance and cheapness. only will have a budget of £5000 tops also.
i know i cant have anything but im open to suggestions to see what others think

cheers

are you mad?
S14a, Supra, GT Four etc.

i would choose a DC2 smile

i really really like that atr batty. nice find there.

as for having to get rid of the evo sadly it just costs to much to run, insure etc etc. was ok whilst i was single without a care in the world but baby's mean a realisation check sadly.
im seriously thinking about the atr but wondered what other people would suggest. also im looking at over 25mpg ideally so a lot of formentioned cars sadly will be a no go.
