Quick spot of advice please

Just had my front spring break on my Pug 406. Coincidentally the car will not now start either. Do you think this breakage would have somehow tripped the starting control/ECU?

(why do I ask? - because I wish to decide whether to fit a new front spring, or throw the towel in and write the car off)

do you have a petrol inertia switch? it the car jolted when it snapped, it could have triggered that. just would need pressing in again to reset

Thanks. Its an HDI. Spring broke whilst it was parked - very odd!

Found it switch, and started first time. Thank you

I'll change the spring now.
