Hi Mike, I'm about to head off for practice in about an hour to arrive at 8:30 I hope.

Last year there were big queues outside the circuit from 8:00 for quali so aim to be there about an hour before you'd like to be an that will be fine. Don't assume you can just drive in and park as over 85,000 are expected and alot of them will be going just to get there in time for 3rd practice.

As for Sunday, it depends what ticket you have. I think there's a BMW race at around 8:30 if you are bothered abiut seeing that. If you have a general admission ticket then you'll want to arrive at around 5:00am when the circuit opens to get the best seat. The best spots will be long gone by 6:00.

On the other hand if you have a grandstand ticket then you'll be fine and could aim to turn up whenever you want. Race-day traffic should be slightly better as alot of people will be doing the park and ride but again, aim to arrive an hour before you want to.

The A43 is only closed in directions going away form the circuit, and vice-versa in the evening. If you're driving to the circuit it won't be a problem. Enjoy!

Hi Mike,

You're from Uxbridge too are you? Beautiful town! haha. Are you taking the 360 tomorrow then?

It's all three days for me. Today was great but I think tomorrow may be wet. Still, should make for some decent racing. I think we'll aim to leave at 7:30am tomorrow to hopefully be there soon after 8:30 then on Sunday we're parking and riding from the M40 P & R and we'll probably leave at 4ish and hope to be at the circuit by 6:00am. As I said before, it depends on your ticket but if you have general admission you'll want to be there by then for the best places. If you're in the grandstands then you can turn up whenever you fancy really. Enjoy the day and i'll look out for your car on the way up!
