iv got an e30 320i and recently my coolant warning light came on. i checked the levels and it was just below the mark but the engine and cooling system is bone dry. theres no water in the oil either. is this just an old car character thing or has my head gasket gone???
Do you mean you haven't really lost any water but the warning light comes on as if you have? Then Coolant Level Sensor? Very commonly go wrong...cheap to buy new.
