Who says they haven't?
Record times require expensive, independent, timing and authentication which is not normally viable for the amateur.
The nearest would be if anyone has some drag strip timing tickets but you should also go look for jeff schwartz's times in the Silverstate Classic (think that is what it is called)

With Jeff's BHP I would expect quicker times, but putting it down is another thing. Jeff, if you have some of your own results then please share them with us ! I'm not being confrontational, just let us know your own times. We would all be interested !
Having tried to replicate the Factory's 1/4 mile sub 10s time, I realised very quickly that it takes a lot of experience to pull off a good ET, as well as lot of BHP. I have timed my own 0 to 60 and 0 to 100 but have only posted the 20 to 60 time on youtube - you can "count the frames" to confirm the 1.7s 20 to 60 time. Yes, I know it isn't an offical posting but you did say post your own results.
Based on an average of several runs, I would say X11GTR will do 0 to 60 in 2.7s and 0 to 100 in 5.8s, including 1 and 2 gear changes respectively. I also managed a 140 to 160 time of 2.0s dead (in fifth). 182mph was the rev limiter in 5th at 7300rpm. Can't help but think I need a longer 'box, especially as I am looking at my disattached G50 as I type this. Roll on Charles Dunn on Monday !

Years ago a friend was into racing and prepared his car in a Nissen Hut.This process generated boxes of broken parts and the occasional surplus of body filler. The body filler was pressed into the valleys of the huts corrugated iron and the broken parts embedded into the filler. After many years of racing (John Welch, British Autocross Champion) the collection was very impressive.
Burst clutches and bell housings hung on ropes from the middle of the roof.

Yes.One of Johns sponsors was the Army. Their sponsorship extended to letting him loose on one of the firing ranges so he could practise and work on setup/tuning.
Strange situation, you know, and fully understand, how competent the guy is but it still scares the crap out of you.

I had a ride on one when I was about 15-16, it was an all purpose, off road hillclimb,sprint and autocross special. A homebuilt machine with a bike engine. It's an uncle of a mate, a farmer, he scared the b*&^$dy life out of me in five minutes flat. The short experience was a bit like being a sidecar pillion but on four wheels over mud and rough terrain, hanging on for dear life.... brilliant.
If you fancy doing some unofficial timings for a bit of fun, I can highly recommend the "Gtech Pro SS". I bought one a few years back and it's a nice bit of kit. It does all the 0-60, 1/4 mile, reaction time, bhp, torque. I can't vouch for the accuracy, but the results were very repeatable, which ment I could fettle with the engine and do another run to see any gains I'd achieved.
