I think I've overtightened one of my wheel bolts on my E36 M3. It now won't go fully tight but won't undo either. It just turns and won't come out. What can I do? Help!
Once the wheel & bolts have been removed check the threads on the bolt and for any metal deposits in the bolt hole. obviously excessive amounts of either is not good.
I've only recently started doing my wheels up to specified torque using a torque wrench...I was amazed how much less the specified torque is than I would have thought. Ok, I'm a fairly 'big bloke' but but it's way under the effort I'd previously been applying.
