air bag warning light on 360

the airbag warning light has just come on in my 360,is it anything to worry about?anyone know?

It needs checking out by dealer diagnostics, could just be a simple reset required on SD2. If the lights on, it means your airbag system is disabled.

it will mean that the airbag system is disabled, but dont worry...i was told by a dealer that it could go of any minute and it should not be drove! after abit of research found that under extreme exceleration and rather bumpy conditions it can cause the sensors to function badly momenteraly. its a simple reset by the dealer.

or you could have a problem with the firing system...which might not be cheap

It wont go off, if the light is on, full stop, sytstem is disarmed.
Until you find the fault, you have a non airbag car. First stop is a dealer/indy, see if they can reset the system.

Your dealer is talking rubbish, the airbag systems in modern cars are designed so once the light on the dash comes on, they can't go off.

i knew he was talkin rubbish, i just read what i wrote and didnt realy explain that bit properly. i appolagise. they were his words not mine.
