I just wanted to know what's the most common passing questions people are asked when you pull up in a supercar.

Most times when i pull up at a petrol station/shop/etc. i always get asked 'how much?' or 'do you wanna swap'. Do other supercar owners get asked the same question or is it just me?? And what replies do you give especially when asked about the cost of the car??

"what do you do for a living"

"are you famous"

"how do you afford that"

three fairly common ones I experience.

I have had the car about 36 hours. I have been asked:
How much is insurance (surprisingly good)
How many mpg (shocking around town)

Or 'put your foot down/lets hear it?'.

Always get asked questions (now i know how a pretty girl feels like). Do you get annoyed or is it part n parcel of owning a supercar?

Depends on what you drive I suppose! Some "Supercars" are more discrete than others!

"Is it yours?" rolleyes
"How much did it cost?" It was worth it.
"What's the MPG like?" Erm. Not great, admittedly.
"Why didn't you get it in red?" ...
"Rev the engine?" With pleasure smile
"Is it fast?" ha ha

The two that stick in my mind are:

My son wants to know how much drugs you had to sell to buy that?

and my favourite, "Go on.. Floor It...."

I always get asked "How fast does it go?". Look it up in WhatCar if you're that interested!
Or, "How fast have you been in it?". 70mph.

Now that question is always asked, its the number one comment. My now automatic response is always "Thats how i got it" implying that the guy who i asked swappedsmile Try it its a great ice breaker.

A supercar is not discrete by definition alone.

oh I don't know ... a 575 in TDF blue is quite subtle or a 456 in Verdi.
