Hi all,

Anybody used these guys for refurb'ing wheels? The price is £230 for delivery of a refurb'ed set and collection of your existing ones. You just need to get them fitted locally.

Sounds reasonable if, like me, you don't have a garage and ramps while they are off.

Not used, but most wheel refurb places with do a same day turn around for a bit extra over their usuall prices. Worth checking the price.

I used them for a set of split rims. All I'd say is you get what you pay for. I don't wish to make that sound too negative because, for the money the finish is fine but if you're a perfectionist its worth going elsewhere.

I'd rather have my wheels refurbed than accept an unknown set. Who knows how bad they were before refurb?

Hmmm, a bit mixed then.

Has anybody used a drive-in,refurb,drive-out place (as in MrB's post)

Thanks

Good point - the last person could have sent in a truly shocking set.

I've seen pxwheels checking exchange wheels in, he's meticulous, checks them with a DTi & any that don't pass muster are sent back to the customer
