Pedals

Being 6'3" i was debating taking the seat off the rails and havng someone machine an extension to the rails to give me another couple of inches ( NO GIGGLES ) anyway having good look round the car today i found that the pedals were on max extension so i wound them in about 2" and thats it done, straight leg on depressing the clutch........ fantastic,

Yeah I'm 6'2" and thought I might have to do something with the pedals but with them all wound out I have the seat one notch forward from the back of the rails... Only problem now is getting them all level which seems to be quite tricky as my throttle pedal won't go any further forward and the brake won't go any further back... Plus at the moment my clutch bite point is really high so needs the slave cylinder push rod chopping down a bit... Been putting it off for a year so far though!

But hey ho, might just get a set of leven pedals and start from scratch!

Yeah i think these are leven ones anyway, they have about a 3" screw on the back and a locknut

didnt know you could adjust them until reading this "oh no! something else to wonder whether I have got adjusted correctly"

Thank you i am 6'2" just been and had a look and mine are set for a short person, little job for tommorrow am, and a good excuse for a test drive
