I have just recently bought a 1999 chimaera 400. Best example could find for the money!am looking to put alloys on it but wanted to know the offset and a place where i could get good wheels for a good price! so if anyone got any suggestions let me know. also was thinking of getting straight through pipes done. does this sound better than the normal rumble of the v8. thanx for any answers guys

For aftermarket wheels you want this thread for inspiration:

...if there's something you like the look of, suggest you contact the owners to ask them where they got them done...

Happy hunting..

I also have 1999 400 and had my exhaust changed to straight through in March. Yes, it is loud, but not too loud, and I'd never change it back. Go for it!!

When you say straight through which part do you mean, surely not all of it!!!

Well all there is is the cats at the front and a single silencer mid-way along... I wen't straight through a while ago and it's the best value mod I've done - the noise is awesome!

thanx for the messages guys. I think i will def go for the exhaust then yes ive been told it sounds awsome!!!also i have seen that thread relating to the after market alloys and liked the ZW1 RH alloys off a VW golf/Porsche. I think i will get them they do look good!!but dnt know whether people will say they off a porsche or VW. Oh well as long as they suit the car. They really do in that pic. Cheers once again guys.

Reply to Pilgrim13 - I had the back box taken out and a pipe welded in - only cost about £150
