Yob and a Road Cone

Hello

Some idiot decided they would smash my windscreen the other night with a road cone and leave their kebab wiped down the side of my 330 convertible

Autoglass are out to fix it next week and screen special order, any advice for getting it fitted.

I remember getting a new screen on my golf and I am sure there were lever marks in the paint surround after, so I am little nervous, any advice?

Sorry I don't have advice, but I wish we could string those bds up who do stuff like this. Total scum.

Take photos of the windscreen surround now and then if there are any problems get the windscreen fitter's company to sort it.

these guys are fitting glass all the time , just tell the fitter of your prev experience and im sure he will take extra care.

Make sure the little plate with the VIN number is still visible after the installation.

Also make sure they don't feck up the bonnet hinges and scuttle trim like they did on my E36.

Oh, and the fact that the non-OEM screen fitted had a nut which wasn't capable of supporting the auto-dimming mirror, which fell off about three weeks later.
