Hello All

I have a friend who is thinking of spending $40K + with these guys on an ice driving experience.

Their web site is www.the-instructors.de (it says nothing)

So I'm very hesitant.

Any views / experience / advice.

ETS - here are the contact details any knowledge of Sven Herberger? He can clearly drive.

I can't comment on those guys, other than, $40k/£20k... Holy Sheyet!

However, if you go to Don Palmer's website he has a link to an ice driving experience, it costs about £3k, so a saving of about £17k.

You'd expect a week personal tuition from Petter Solberg for that kind of moolah...

That's what I thought...
They're driving all sots of exotic (and stupid) kit GT3RS, WRC cars .. Bentley Conti!!!! etc. etc. but it seems just crazy to spend that kind of cash.

to be fair, there's no mention of how many people are being entertained for the $40K. if it's 40 people then it's probably very good value.

Try europeanspeedclub.de
They do winter trainings in Lapland and Austria - very proffesional outfit and pro instructors. Good value for money.

If you really want to have the time of your life on ice, look no further than http://www.yngveson.se/gallery/slideshow.php?set_a...

9 Hours. Lots of bang for the buck, quite literally at times.

I'm in slide 63.

$40k would probably buy the entire field of 80 cars!

That is assuming the dollar doesn't drop too much further...

Yeah, we scored points with the locals when we didn't give up.

That is out of our Renault 5 which had succumbed earlier.
