Very quiet in the Cerbera forum(probably due to my rubbish post), so thought I'd try again here.

I'm looking for a written off Cerb. It is only the centre section and roof that I'm interested in. It doesn't matter if there is front or rear damage as long as the chassis is in reasonable shape. Any colour will do just fine, but nothing worse than Cat D.

Just one thing,,, please, please, please do not disclose the location or even hint at it... The parts concerned are not insured which is causing me a headache at the moment.

Any help appreciated. There is an article in July Sprint about what I'm up to.

Wikipedia was certainly very wrong about the Speed 12 history in several ways. Hopefully I can fill in the gaps when I get time to work through it all.

Thanks
Graham

Great news that your salvageing an icon.

I'd be really interested in learning more about the project, I'd also be very interested in doing an extended article on the project when you have progressed a bit more. (I'm the new speed 6 sub editor and the twelve is two stuck together isn't it ?)

Good luck with the build.;)

Unfortunately it is difficult to make any progress without a donor car. The general project path has been given a lot of thought and most decisions have broadly been made, apart from choice of engine.

I'll happily contribute to an article. I have some amazing pictures, but they were too late for the July edition. Derek has one or two corkers of the black one taken by S D Photography. It is truly awsome, even just as a mock up. Let me know if you want to put them in Sprint or I'll put one or two up here. Personnally I think they should go in Sprint first as a courtesy to TVRCC members.

General reminder - please do not disclose location.. thanks.

Cheers

You sir are a hero!

Please be sure to do a thread on here with weekly updates/pic/videos etc as I would be reaaaaally interested in seeing it come together (as I'm sure many others will)! I always promised myself that the first thing I'd buy if/when I make some serious money was the speed 12, or have one made if it wasn't for sale, I always figued the drawings were all there, and the engine design remains, it just needs some (ok rather a lot) of cash to get going!

Good luck in your project though, if you ever need a spare spanner hand I hereby offer my services!

You are correct they do have a few, but one was rolled, one was parts only - Cat. B, one was burned up inside etc, so I couldn't use any of them. I'll have another look though.

Probably worth giving plasticman on here a shout, I seem to recall he sorted out both Omerta and Itsallyellow with thier project cars.

Keep updating over on the Cerb forum too, I barely visit here and would love to keep track of progress on it. thumbup

Just confirmed it was sold, but not to me unfortunately. I'm not sure how different the speed six chassis is to the 4.5 either..
