I think Ben is talking about the 20 or so TVRs that turned up from the Hants region to the Longleat Hill climb. Was good to see them drop in, bit of a shame it was so wet.

In reply to your question Ben, I seem to think it was Dry when you beat me by 0.004secs in April, damp when I beat you in May by quite a bit and dry when I beat you in June by 0.6 seconds.

The reality is that Ben in the Datsun is the better driver in the quicker car, when he hasn’t got his driving head on I can just about catch him. Not a fair contest really as it is a proper race car against something that is used for burbling down the pub on sunny Sundays. Luckily as we know TVR didn’t make slow cars so even in fairly standard trim I can still have a go at keeping him honest.

The re match is on the 20th at Gurston.
