You have a valid point but if you continue your flood of rants on this forum then:
A, I will be returning your magazine unread
B, I will find a different forum to frequent

It is getting a little tedious now, I am sure everyone has got the jist of the situation so why don't you spend your time improving your magazine and let that do the talking for you. How about a feature on Coram or Pell Automotive, how about an in depth interview with a couple of Ultima builders, what about the Kit Car race scene (now that would interest the people on here). You are supposed to be an authoritive figure in the Kit Car industry so why dont you tell us some hot news about new kits, projects that people have on the go, what about an ideas section where people can write in with some usefull tips. How about something original and interesting!!

Ooooohhh I know: 1001 reasons why Kit Car magazine is better than Which Kit

Have you reported this to Ted via the 'Report Abuse' link?

I also don't think he is promoting his magazine, in fact he has suggested that his competitor join the discussion. I believe peetbee has contacted Which Kit? to that effect.

I think there is alot coming from kitcarman, but it needs saying, as it is relevant. I agree some of it is repetitive, but now I know more about it, I'm surprised he is not ranting even more.

Back on thread, I think that it is rather underhand, but not unusual for a company to advertise, and take deposits before the car is fully developed and for sale. Look at some of the TVR models (e.g.T350T, albeit minor mods to an existing model). O.K there was not the underhanded self promotion, which is bad, but the general marketing method is not unique to them, even though I personally think it is wrong.

Blimey Kitcarman, you've got way too much time on your hands.

Haven't you got a mag to write instead?

I've got an idea for you that'll save you some dosh: why don't you just publish your mag on the forum that way you'll remove the publishing costs.
Given this thread, it seems you're already doing that!

Ta.

BTW I'm glad I didn't sign up for your freebie offer, I wouldn't want more of this tirade through the letter box as well. Do us a favour and give it a rest?

I agree with the above, every time I now look at the kitcar threads it has something about this bloody argument between both publications. We thought you were being reasonable and trying to quell the arguments that have been happening, but instead you are now using an online forum to spread the argument daily not monthly.

Give it a rest and start telling us the virtues of kit car owner ship and helping people when they have queries and questions.

No-one on here wants to read your elongated threads moaning about Which Kit?

What with CCC being closed this month, surely you want to promote your publication and get more people reading it........

OK chaps! I've heard what you've said!
Now can anybody advise me what to do. Remove the post or leave it to drop off the bottom?
Pity, from my point of view. My hope was that we might reach a consensus on this one point so there would be less ground to cover and less confusion of issues later.
Thanks Sparks, for your support.

I'm sure everyone would agree that answering questions posted on here about various kits or other industry queries are more than welcome.

However, it may be better to wait until everyone has reviewed the coming issue of Kit Car before posting any other comments about either of the magazines. Sound Fair?

Although having said that, once I get chance to speak to Which Kit, I will provide an update.

I'm glad this point has been shown to me as I did not here about from anywhere else. Thankyou Kitcarman as I now have a better understanding of Which Kit, and will be Listening for there replie !

But I don't think there will be any.

I have herd that the man in Question has had some dodgy dealings before, and have spoken to another of his Victims, who was lets say not very complmentary.
I did not know that he now owns WK, but it makes sence.
What a shame life has to have it's empire builders !!!!

I think the point was made a long time ago. I'm not in a position to verify the claims made regarding what legal actions have preceded these discussions and therefore do not appreciate the potential litigous nature of the posts being made.

Kitcarman - you're extremely welcome here, but I'm sure our readers would prefer you to expound your knowledge of kit cars rather than on these matters.

Do yourself a favour and let's have some positive input rather than just putting me in a quandry every time you post!
