Hi All,

I'm fairly new here and not familiar with these forums. I'm trying to find objective information on the Ferrari F355 running costs. I seem to remember PH had a place for users to list the running costs of their cars so I thought I'd have a look here but I haven't been able to properly search user profiles for the information I need. If you have one of such profiles with some info, or else any online information or you know any resources, I'd appreciate a link or two. Or if you know how to find relevant profiles within PH. So far I've been reading here:
http://www.the355.com/
I think it's a great website and it covers servicing but I couldn't find running costs figures that would cover typical repairs and things that need replacing like tyres, brake pads and discs or clutch (how much and how often and so on).

Sorry about my English, I try my best but I'm Spanish.

Thanks for any comments smile

You could get an idea of parts costs by looking here www.eurospares.co.uk and they will ship to you.

I can't help much on this, however eurospares will give you an idea on cost of replacement parts.
Servicing is generally fixed price (check out www.verdiferrari.biz) plus any extras that need doing.

Petrol is bad. Motorway about 13L/100km. Town, about 20L/100km. Tyres depend on brand but 18in are OK these days. The model specific 255/40/18 are expensive, but 265/40/18 (which a lot of people fit) are much more affordable and are covered by more brands.

Brakes don't seem all the expensive. A clutch is relatively cheap due to ease of access however if you need a new flywheel then that will be expensive.

People here seem to budget about £2k per annum in total although that depends on mileage. On the positive side, there seem to be quite a few cars that have done high mileage and are running fine.

See my other post, just go and buy one. You will love it.

Costs are not cheap, remember, even if you buy a low mileage model, the car is gonna be at least 9 years old, and things perish and need replacing very frequently. I absolutely love mine, but am spending every month on things to keep it running tip top. They may only be a 30-40 odd k car now, but the running costs reflect the original buying price.
