Hey all,

My 1st post, so please bear with me if this has been covered before/in the wong section!

I'm considering lowering my 98 s40 t4. I don't care for looks...I'd just like an increase in composure and roadholding. Is it worth getting a spring only kit for this? I've heard spring only kits can bugger up the dampers bushes etc. and reduce there lifespan. Does anyone have any suggestions as too cost effective ways of getting a sportier ride handling balance (I'm considering a strut brace too)?

Thanks a bunch

You could do worse than having a chat with Don Norchi (kalmar-union.com)
Certainly seems to know his stuff and is the place I'll be going for a remap..

Oh yeah, strut brace was the first thing I fitted to my t5, made a difference to the feel of the front end. Still a big heavy fast barge though... smile

I have a 1999 S40 T4. Defo get a strut brace 1st. makes a huge difference. Good Idea to talk to Kalmar Union can also try RT Mechanics.
