tamora not shutting down ?

new battery on the tamora and alls well except it wont shut down ????
take the key out and it says tamora shut down ....but fades away leaving the hanbrake light still on then the dash lights back up as if the ignitions still on ?
what am i not doing right ?

I get this sporadiacally in mine. By fluke I found out that if I flick the right stalk down the screen goes off. Left may work as well, but when the right works so well....

I find it hard to believe that this is a TVR inbuilt feature so it may not work for you, suggestions with mine is that something electrical (resistor?) is not shutting down and flicking the stalk down is just enough to load it to turn it off.*

had to laugh while tryin to find solutioun to the problem in the dash menus i came across recal, acording to recall max revs the cars seen is 9000 and max speed ...... 226mph !!!! lol

You were quicker there Graham I had to look up which one I usually pull out- mine freezes the speed at 88 mph so its a slower car than bobdylans....

i dont acctualy remember doing 226mph in it but the dash computer says so and i belive it hmmmmm hang on nubin owned it before me AHHHHH it was him ! thats why he fitted extra hooks for the roof panel
hehe.
iv passed the car to garage round the corner let them scratch there heads for a while. was fine before so should be fine again with the new battery

I had the not shutting down problem in mine. Once leading to a flat battery in the morning as something was powered overnight.

Turning the key on and off repeatedly normally worked eventually, as sometimes did flicking the indicator. However after a few months nothing would turn it off bar pulling the fuse.

Track traced it to an ECU fault, sent it off to a lady in Blackpool and it has been fine ever since.

From memory, it's Cath? Very helpful and knowledgable lady (I've met her a couple of times), she will definitely be my first contact in the event of dash problems.
