I did, and got wet. Lots of wet. My mate was in Barrow and wanted to do Grizedale on the way home, wanted me to join him. I was going to but decided I'd rather drive 10 miles and get soaked, than drive 100 miles and get soaked.

Had a cracking ride today. Bike needs a good 4 hours of maintenance. Car needs a valet. Washing machine needs servicing to remove gravel. Bathroom needs disinfecting. Carpet on stairs needs wet-vaccing.

It was worth it, one of my best rides all year. Hardly saw a soul. Beat my PB time over the 24 mile route. Hit every jump. Splashed every puddle. Grinned, and shouted out loud to myself points.

I was ripping, I was on it. Brilliant.

I rode in our club Time Trial, abismal weather and to make things worse came off on a patch of diesel descending a hill on the way home.

Bit of road rash today but nothing broken

I went to Llandegla on Wednesday in the rain, six of us going in the morning, four by the afternoon, only three got to the top of the hill & only two managed to finish!

Bike is nearly dead with only a few gears working, knackered front wheel, rear pivot, etc, etc It was great fun though!

I went out for a great ride on Wednesday night - went with a mate to Swinley Forest, first time I'd been there so was taking it slow, but I was pretty much overall brown by the time I got home - so much fun though .
