It is like Christmas Eve in our house tonight.

John has done a cracking job with the interior.

Only 1 more sleep to go.

Off to bed shortly.

Hi Rob - it'll be good to see you at BBWF - we obviously need a supercharger section, hopefully there will be 4 with mine, Jasper, yourself and the "imposter" SH ;^)

Carob congrats on the new motorwink

Check out my last post on the attached thread: http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...

Fantastic car and one of the best sounding TVR's I ever came accross. I'd love to catch up and have a look over the old girl if you're up for it.

Drive safely.

If it's got a bottle green SEAC interior - it's the second Haughin's demonstrator - I've got a few bits of history and it appears in one of Georgano's books.

David Haughin lent it to me for a day in 1990 while my car was being serviced and I went over to Appleby to see my Godfather in it - It was a fantastic car, really well sorted and a great drive. Look after it well!

It does have the bottle green interior Jasper.

I also have a letter written by you from its history.

It would be fantastic to catch up with you at the BBWF and talk to you about your obvious knowledge of this special car.

I will not take the ownership of this car lightly as i know it is a very special car,and i feel privideledge to own a piece of TVR history.

Best Regards

Rob

A nice looking car that looks like its had some love and money spent on it since the last time SSCC had it for sale. The SX cars are special for good and bad reasons. The bad side surrounds the sorry loss of Haughins as a dealership (that didnt always play by the rules) and possibly David taking his own life when he should have been enjoying TVRs glory years.

Amen to that - David was a great guy and I still miss him
