well the LR came in handy at BBWF as we didn't reserve a hotel! Same goes for Le Mans, but we will probably find a place to sleep
. We will be doing quite a few miles by driving them through Scotland from the 13th till the 19th of august.... Hey All,
Well im back and the car played a stunning effort again by getting me and my mate to le-mans, loads of cruising (with plenty of noise through town making antics!) and back again without missing a single beat!
It's confirmed...le-mans has had it, the classic rules the way! (just dont go telling everyone!!!!)

Nice one Matt.
Glad you had a good time and the wedge behaved.
I'm considering it for next year - How far is it once you've reached french soil?

Only every other year for the classic Lee Glad you had a good time and the wedge behaved.

But feel free to join us at the real LeMans next year
Hi Matt - Doh !! Just read this thread today - after I got back !!
I was there too, in one of the 7 million Porsche 911s that were there, I did look out for Wedges but only saw a yellow one parked on road near main entrance on Sunday and another dark blue one on TVR club stand in the infield.
This was my third one... and must admit I haven't been back to the 24hrs since the last classic !
But ssshhhhhhhh don't want everyone to know how good it is !

Where you on the Dieppe-Newhaven crossing yesterday afternoon? I thought I heard the distinctive noise of a 400SE start up in the bowls of the ferry, reminds me I must start mine up again soon.
I was in my red Griff(number plate on the bonnet), I
as I went past you & was with another Griff & a Chim.Good to see the Gendarmarie where more interested in directing traffic on the way back that using speed guns, looks like they must have reached their Christmas party fund target last month
