Living with my new Diablo...

I had a slow puncture in the driver's front so took it to Watling to get it done... (it just required taking off the rim, cleaning and re-sealing, all done now) ...As I was paying the conversation went:

• What engine is in that?

+ A 5.7L V12!

• Yeah but who's it by?

+ Sorry?

• Who's it by?

+ What do you mean?

• Who made it?

+ Lamborghini! :-|

• OH! So, it's not a kit car then?!

Nah I told them it was a Fiero with a body kit

Maybe it would have been more believeable if I had said it was a Transit with a conversion?



When I started it up to leave, they were practically all lined up out the front watching!

Having had the car detailed by Jay (JayKayBi of Kent run organisation fame) ...I had some pictures taken by a young, professional photogrpaher who is looking to expand his portfolio. I can't wait to see how they come out. He is post-pro-ing them atm...

Yeah, I had it delivered to Gaydon and promptly stalled it all the way into the arena! Did I care? Not a jot!

My 'local' Watling have always been great - The one in Catford. They don't take the piss and will always tell you if they think you tyres still have life in them etc...

Oh... and they don't sell exhausts :P lol

I can't say about any others tho? Are there other branches? I guess each place is only as good as its staff?

FWIW He removeed the tyre and completely, successfully cleaned up and resealed the rim.
