Bonnet Stay Glue
Discussion
Due to my inept nature i have managed to remove the bonnet stay pole from the bonnet.
Not the first time it's come off but it had been glued in the past.
Maybe glue is the wrong word but i need to put the bonnet stay back into the bonnet and fill the hole.
Suggestions on what to use so i don't end up melting the front off the car.
Cheers

Used this stuff on mine, we use it at work on the Jets to hold stuff on and is really good stuff, you can get it from any DIY shop.

well one of my bonnet catches, has snapped off the bonnet! and araldite is a bit thin, will this metal putty stuff do it?
I made metal replacements here, they hook over the main part of the bonnet, i used Sikaflex to bond it which is automotive body panel glue, then glassed over the top to ensure success! i also used sikaflex to then bond the bonnet back onto its strengthening bars.Edited by brakedust300 on Monday 14th July 07:44
